How to apply for new $1.5 billion in CARES Act grants from EDA for COVID-19 recovery projects (and concrete ways to better support Black-owned businesses)

Join Ilana Preuss, Founder & CEO of Recast City, and special guests, Harold Pettigrew, CEO of Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF), and Mirielle Burgoyne, Director of Government Relations at the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), to talk about how local governments and non-profits can apply for the new $1.5 BILLION in grants available from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. EDA funding can be used to support small businesses, infrastructure for them, incubators, and all sorts of other local economic needs. This funding can also be an opportunity to address the systemic racism inherent within some traditional economic development approaches and change how we do local economic development.

If you are considering applying for this funding, and would like to talk about how to incorporate small-scale manufacturing businesses into your strategy, Recast City is here to help.

Book a time for us to talk and let’s see if it’s a fit.
